SUMMERBROOKE
Summerbrooke is divided into two subdivisions: Summerbrooke and The Groves at Summerbrooke. Between the two, there are more than 800 homes, with the majority being in the Summerbrooke neighborhood. The Conservation of Summerbrooke is a newer subdivision located within the larger Summerbrooke neighborhood, with its own distinct HOA.
For those looking for larger homes on large lots, without sacrificing proximity to downtown, this community is a popular choice. Today, there are more than 800 homes and growing, with most in the 2,500-3,000 sq. ft. range. Don't let the name fool you; The Golf Club at Summerbrooke, is so much more than just golf! This is the ideal venue for large special events like weddings, meetings, receptions, and more, as it holds up to 125 people.
Members can also enjoy the 2,100 sq. ft. resort-style swimming pool. There’s a wade-in area for small children, as well as a splash pad with fountains. The fun doesn’t stop when the sun sets. There are also fire pits for evening gatherings.
Of course, if you are a Summerbrooke resident who loves to golf, you’re covered. The course was originally built in 1993 by Dean Refram; however, it was modified in 1997, which has allowed for improvements to the fairways, greens, and tees. The course, with its rolling hills and lake views, makes it one of the most scenic golf courses in Tallahassee.
SHOPPING & AMENITIES NEAR SUMMERBROOKE
Similar to the Ox Bottom neighborhood, residents of Summerbrooke love being right down the road from Bannerman Crossing Shopping Center. In this area, there’s also a Publix grocery store, Walmart, Target, and Walgreens for all the essentials.
